In a recent interview and taping, Dr. Worth Kamili Hayes gives a historical perspective on racial justice efforts nationally and the future impact on generations of African Americans. Dr. Hayes, Associate Professor of History and Director of Assessment at Tuskegee University, is one of many chosen to participate in the International Justice Mission Taping - whose aim is to empower people and culture toward racial healing, equity and reconciliation.
"We have a specific vision of highlighting an HBCU History Professor for a segment on the importance of telling the unvarnished and historically accurate truth of our nation" said a spokesperson with Be The Bridge, a non profit organization based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
The primary mission of Be The Bridge is to empower people and culture toward racial healing, equity and reconciliation. This is achieved by offering a multitude of programs, guides/curriculum and certified training for churches and organizations across the country.
The production will be hosted by Sho Baraka, and divided into various segments.
